ModelCo is seeking a passionate, experienced, and results driven SOCIAL MEDIA AND CONTENT STRATEGIST.

  • Opportunity for an experienced content strategist to join an industry leader

From monthly content planning to daily execution of digital content, this exciting and dynamic role includes a variety of tasks from creating engaging creative content to executing influencer engagement to grow and maintain ModelCo’s social media channels and website. Key to the role is a graphic design experience and extensive knowledge of all social media platforms. A solid understanding of how to drive brand awareness, create engagement with understanding of who the top bogger/social media/celebrity’s influences are, as well as genuine passion the fashion and beauty industry is key to success.

The ideal candidate is someone with their finger on the pulse and is a quick, effective worker that is a step ahead and understands the ever changing world of the social media and digital realm.  You will be our brand voice, so you must be confident, full of creative ideas and ready to action in heartbeat! The role is responsible for the day-to-day running of our various social platforms as well as acting as the social media personality for our Iconic Australian beauty brand.

Tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Creating and executing monthly ModelCo Social Media strategy in line with brand aesthetic
  • Creating self-produced in-house video content for all social media channels
  • Creating a rolling 3-month influencer engagement recommendation and strategy programme
  • Sourcing and creating all content for social media including social media advertising and video content
  • Maintaining our social media presence across a variety of platforms
  • Designing social media banners and engagement content
  • Create strategic social media campaigns to engage followers and create conversation, including reaching out to Instagram influencers and bloggers for collaborations
  • Engaging with followers and other social media accounts in an informative and on-brand tone of voice.
  • Providing well thought out ideas with detailed insights and findings for new campaigns


Ideally you will have:

  • Proven digital marketing, social media and content strategy experience.
  • Familiarity with Campaign Monitor and/or HTML to create and send newsletters to database Strong Enthusiasm for creating images, video, and posts.
  • Photography, video editing & writing skills is a plus. Must be active on social media yourself and possess a strong working knowledge of social media platforms
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Great interpersonal communication skills and well presented Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (This is a must; we will ask for demonstrations of your skill)
  • Ability to work autonomously and cooperatively as part of a close knit team
  • Effective time management and the ability to meet deadlines
  • The ability to work under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines on a weekly basis
  • Highly organised with the ability to forecast and forward plan
  • Familiarity with Australian social media landscape including bloggers, influencers, celebrities and models is a must

An exciting opportunity exists for an organised, dynamic international sales and marketing manager at iconic Australian beauty brand, ModelCo. This role plays an integral part within the company and requires a proactive, action orientated, digitally savvy, flexible and highly sales driven individual.

You must be able to work autonomously as well as possess strong team spirit and have a bright, positive and ‘can do’ attitude. Proven sales and marketing support experience and skills and professional, articulate customer service/communication skills are essential.

Tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Key involvement of the strategy and implementation of securing new business in international markets spanning, Europe, North America and Asia alongside of existing Account Management
  • Sourcing and opening new distribution internationally primarily Europe
  • Manage the total distribution process including register, agreements, activity/sales and training
  • Ability to speak and translate in most prominent languages in Europe being English, French and Spanish if required.
  • Ensuring the rollout alongside the marketing team, for successful planning and implementation of distributor collateral and stock-lists
  • Maintain the brand’s image and footprint is represented consistently globally
  • Ensure the entire product range is stocked and merchandised in line with global strategy
  • Proven capability within sales, marketing new business development and driving sales
  • Strong ability to establish, build and develop effective business relationships
  • Established networks within the international cosmetics/skincare and Beauty market
  • Collect and analyses consumer, market insights and competition strategies to make recommendations to management

An exciting position exists for a newly created role at ModelCo Head Office supporting our Digital, PR and Marketing team.

The role will see the successful applicant primarily assisting our digital marketing and PR team however will also include various ad hoc admin duties assisting other departments across the business. The ideal candidate is someone who is proactive, action-orientated, digitally savvy, flexible and highly organised.

The successful applicant will possess an exceptional time management and an understanding of deadlines, strong communication skills and are committed to working both individually and as part of a fast paced and dynamic team.

Tasks include but are not limited to:

  •  Assisting the Digital Marketing Manager with all facets of E-Commerce product merchandising including updating of visual assets, product descriptions, customer journey and user experience, pricing and inventory management
  • Assisting our e-commerce team with various customer service tasks. Including an extensive customer database, building strong customer relationships and management of online discount VIP codes
  • Assist with customer service and content management across social media channels in accordance with ModelCo brand and style
  • Generate and analyse relevant digital reports and provide statistics and digital insights where required
  • Provide support to the PR department with product send outs, responding to beauty briefs, event execution and media relations
  • Assist PR and Digital departments with the development and growth of relationships with an ongoing network of social media influencers
  • Management of weekly media reports and an up-to-date media contact list.Ensuring ModelCo remains front of mind for leaders of the Beauty, Fashion and Celebrity industry
  • Providing assistance to the customer service manager
  • Ad hoc administration tasks across the business providing support to all departments where required


Ideally, you will have:

  • The ability respond quickly and work across multiple projects and work well under pressure.
  • Effectively handle conflicting deadlines, unexpected delays, revisions, ad hoc requests and changing priorities
  • Attention to detail with an ability to communicate clearly and concisely
  • The ability to show initiative and display a proactive and innovative approach to all tasks
  • An understanding of the Australian fashion/beauty media landscape and a familiarity with relevant key digital publications, websites and social influencers
  • An understanding of digital marketing, online retailing and E-commerce operations including (but not limited to) Magento, WordPress, MailChimp, Google Analytics, SEO and Digital advertising channels
  • Competence across main social media platforms and writing experience, or excellent written communication skills is preferred
