Your responsibilities include:

  • Creating various designs projects across all areas of the business
  • Designing print media campaigns for advertorials and magazines
  • Designing event invitations, vouchers, posters, and other campaign material
  • Design press releases and product presentations and presentation templates
  • Design editorial and social media creative content, across all platforms
  • Email marketing artwork, newsletter layouts
  • Conduct regular website review and design rejuvenation
  • Creating and editing packaging die lines and experience in working with barcodes
  • Developing concepts and finished art for packaging
  • Creating logos for new products
  • Conceptualize and design all in-store marketing collateral, shelf displays and floor stands, to deadline
  • Execute final artwork for window displays
  • Retouching images, create image composites, create renders and mock ups of products

 
Skills, Knowledge and Experience required for the role:

  • Proven Graphic Design experience in Beauty, Fashion, Retail or Print Media essential
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Graphic Design
  • Strong demonstrated experience in packaging design
  • Expert skills across Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
  • Advanced skills Microsoft PowerPoint and Word
  • Demonstrated knowledge in design, typography layouts and pre-press production
  • Knowledge of file and colour management for print and web
  • Ability to plan and manage photo shoots, photography and video editing skills are an advantage
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS for EDM development
  • Highly organized with the ability to forecast and forward plan
  • An understanding of website development and management
  • Familiar with Content Management Systems

This role requires a proven track record in leading and evolving an ecommerce business through innovative technology strategies, engaging content, financial acumen, and implementing partnerships across operations, merchandising and marketing. The objectives of this role are to grow revenue, improve gross margin, maximise operating income and deliver the ultimate brand experience.

Tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Create and develop Digital E-Commerce strategies and present to senior management to fulfil revenue and profit plans, changing consumer expectations and market conditions
  • Manage Digital Commerce P&L, including revenue and margin forecasting, expense budgeting and forecasting
  • Drive sales, profit and consumer experience metrics of www.modelcocostmetics.com driving execution of strategies, promotions, tactics and campaigns.
  • Drive site experience improvements through analytics, testing and to drive increased conversion and AOV, while also providing a strong user experience to reinforce loyalty with ModelCo customers.
  • Manage execution of all web analytics including content, site, traffic and marketing campaign analysis
  • Drive execution of seasonal content and merchandising calendars to ensure freshness, relevancy, consistency and appropriate balance of brand story-telling and commerce
  • Own process, budget and team (internal and external resources) to secure appropriate photo/video and related product content to drive brand story-telling and commerce
  • Lead operational decision making and partner with leadership in customer service, distribution and logistics to drive performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Continue to grow omnichannel strategies and execute plans including ensuring appropriate infrastructure and consumer experience strategies are in place.
  • Analyse current and past trends, monitor performance indicators, highlight trends and analysing causes of unexpected variances.
  • Perform appropriate competitive analyses, benchmarking and research to drive solid ROI analysis and recommendations.
  • Manage all aspects of performance and development of direct reports to encourage professional growth.

E-COMMERCE AND ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT - ModelCo HQ, Sydney, Australia
An exciting position exists for a newly created role at ModelCo Head Office supporting our Digital, PR and Marketing team as an E-COMMERCE AND ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT.

The role will see you primarily assisting our digital marketing and PR team however will also include various ad hoc admin duties assisting other departments across the business. The ideal candidate is someone who is proactive, action-orientated, digitally savvy, flexible and highly organised.

You will possess an exceptional time management and an understanding of deadlines, strong communication skills and are committed to working both individually and as part of a fast paced and dynamic team.

Tasks include but are not limited to:

  •  Assisting the Digital Marketing Manager with all facets of E-Commerce product merchandising including updating of visual assets, product descriptions, customer journey and user experience, pricing and inventory management
  • Assisting our e-commerce team with various customer service tasks. Including an extensive customer database, building strong customer relationships and management of online discount VIP codes
  • Assist with customer service and content management across social media channels in accordance with ModelCo brand and style
  • Generate and analyse relevant digital reports and provide statistics and digital insights where required
  • Provide support to the PR department with product send outs, responding to beauty briefs, event execution and media relations
  • Assist PR and Digital departments with the development and growth of relationships with an ongoing network of social media influencers
  • Management of weekly media reports and an up-to-date media contact list. Ensuring ModelCo remains front of mind for leaders of the Beauty, Fashion and Celebrity industry
  • Providing assistance to the customer service manager
  • Ad hoc administration tasks across the business providing support to all departments where required

 

Ideally, you will have:

  • The ability respond quickly and work across multiple projects and work well under pressure.
  • Effectively handle conflicting deadlines, unexpected delays, revisions, ad hoc requests and changing priorities
  • Attention to detail with an ability to communicate clearly and concisely

  • An understanding of the Australian fashion/beauty media landscape and a familiarity with relevant key digital publications, websites and social influencers

As ModelCo, Australia’s iconic beauty brand renowned for innovation continues to grow and evolve, an instrumental opportunity has been created for a SENIOR MARKETING MANAGER. This role will see you lead and develop our Retail, Digital, PR, Content and e-commerce strategies, as well as formulating social, paid, EDM and digital activity in a smart, efficient and nimble way.

You will be responsible for tying marketing and creative together as the company, brand and its categories grow at a rapid pace. You will manage the digital (online) elements of the marketing mix as well as integrate with offline (print, PR, retail) and work with other departments (logistics, product development, retail) to ensure the implementation of the marketing plan is coordinated, aligned and consistent.

Tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Establishing and keeping track of ROI on all marketing initiatives to measure success of campaigns & strategies and contribute to departmental competitive analysis to keep abreast of the market trends
  • Development and implementation of the brand strategy

You will be hands-on and responsible for driving business growth through existing retail channels and identify, establish and develop new distribution partnerships. Determining the right product mix for your markets and providing on-the- ground support to accounts will be key to generating strong sales growth.
